Last Dec I posted a video on a better way to use bitumen. I found an EVEN MORE interesting video and although not mentioned in the short video, I later discovered that bitumen, because its molecular structure is in sheets and not in chains like normal carbon, is ideally suited to be used as stock feed for the new product talked about in this video.

The bottom line is clear: we need to think forward on how to use our bitumen and stop looking backward on who will buy it to burn it. I am not an engineer but at about the 8 min mark the interviewee talks about building bridges and structures with this stuff and it is almost like science fiction EXCEPT it is already being used by NASA and being looked at by F1 racing.
